How to use our SV Blog

All posting on the page that are longer than one paragraph should be stored in a shared document in your google drive.   The posting should include:
1.  A Catchy Title
2. A Teaser Opening Paragraph that makes readers eager to read more
3. A "Read More" link to the file.

Example: Are you looking for a job? I was ...
I can't promise you the blue pill and that you will wake up with a new job next morning but I found a way to bit statistic. Which statistics? Well mine basically, it's not the first time I am looking for a job but I learned that for each job opening there are about 1000 applicants, only 20 people get interviewed, from these 20 applicants the company chose one, that’s 2% times 5%, this means you have a 0.1% chance to get that job. That’s a bad statistic even for the worst casino in Vegas. I found a way to improve the first number from 2% to a conservative 60%. This means I have a 3% chance to be hired.

Apologies

Where our community members let the class community know they had to miss a session or part of the session, or other course event.

Makeups

Members can earn part of the credit they missed when not participating in class activities by posting on the Forum content that will benefit the community.  For example, by posting useful commentaries of the article missed, reporting interesting tests of project hypotheses, or experiments conducted with your Ventures.  Prepare a 5-minutes presentation of your makeup to the community when you are ready.  Feel free to consult with the community and Teaching Team regarding make-up ideas you have. .

Help Requests
Here students will request help from the SV community regarding developing their MVPs

MVP feedbacks
Here students will provide feedbacks on each MVP: each group should write a post which describes their MVP idea, and the rest of the class will write a comment (feedback) about that idea.

SV Love Machine
As suggested by Noga Ram, this space is for individual positive feedback on jobs well done by community members.  For example, community members can comment on something that happened in class, or between classes. They can compliment a certain committee on a job-well-done, or admire the work of a team which presented something. It can even be an individual "like" on something a student said in class. Just like in Linden Lab, we will most likely notice the great effect that positive feedback can bring. In our everyday lives we tend to easily criticize things around us, though we rarely stop to say a good word...

Rewarder

The Teaching Team team will award books to community members recognized in this section.  Please recommend  members who deserve a reward in this section of the blog.

Chen Ben Shimon suggests that each group will adopt a different group. The adopting group will advise and accompany its adopted group throughout the project. In addition, every two weeks, good efforts will be rewarded. This will result not only caring and a more pleasant environment, but also will produce optimal tools to help us and our community.
