Hi everybody!
So what's the EAT Wizard is all about? It's a website based platform designed to allow you create your own dynamic weekly meals planning. The site can also, and that's the cool part, can create your own shopping list with the sum of all the products required for your weekly meals planning, with actual real time prices!
As we are more advanced on our MVP implementation, for this semester we have chosen to focus on this objectives:
- Increase the number of users while maintaining existing number of current users.
- Finding new markets of potential users.
- Creating new opportunities for cooperation (for more products prices).
- Expand the database, adding new products and receipes.
- Add new features to the website, with regard to previous objectives.
Our main concern at the moment is to learn about marketing while we go, particularly Inbound Marketing. This means that currently, we are focusing on marketing via Social Media, as a Facebook page, and Successful Email Marketing, as a weekly newsletter.
Please check out our great website at: WWW.EATWIZARD.COM
Thanks to the cooperation with the supermarket, if it is possible, you can also provide information about the product in promotion, so people can plan their weekly meals in a better way.
ReplyDeleteValeria thanks a lot for your suggestion, we are in contact with the biggest supermarkets Chains and we will try to find a way to get their promotions in an automatic way. My group also apologizes that there is not an English version of the site and we really appreciate that you took time and tried to help us :)
DeleteGreat idea, may I also suggest marketing to organizations like weight watchers? I think this is a very helpful tool and people who are trying to loose wait would love to use it.
ReplyDeleteAdi that is a really great idea!! we will look for a wise way to add this feature to the site :) Thanks a lot!!
DeleteCreative and useful idea. If you want to expand your project, you can add the option for people to add some recipes of their own, or filtering the recipes by categories, such as vegetarian or vegan food. I'm not sure if you have this already :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback!! :) there is actually a way of screening with kind of recipes you want to insert into the schedule, you ca try it even without registering to the site :) following the next link:
Deletehttp://www.eatwizard.com/project_working/index_for_insert_date.html
Hit on a date, start a new schedule and when you add a new recipe there you have the search options :)
If you have any ideas we will be very happy to hear about them :)
Hey guys!
ReplyDelete... loved the on-line video guides!
I wanted to hear what you have to say about my suggestion in class concerning the ability to plan meals for more than one person (which as we know, is quite how thing work, right?!)
Shahar Mintz.
Thanks Shahar!
ReplyDeleteWhat we started doing in the direction you pointed is giving the ability to the user to decide how many serves he wants from a certain recipe. And the ability to add more than one meal per hour. We will work on handing the possibility for showing calories per person on the calorie cells of the schedule. Have any more suggestions?
Wrote your comments on our mission sheet.
Thanks again :)
Hi,
ReplyDeleteAt first it was a little difficult to operate on the site, but after watching the video it was much easier.
I think this web site is really important for planning your week in the best way.
maybe it will be good if you will add an option to write how many people are going to eat according to the list, so we won't have to do the calculations of the quantities ourselves.
Thanks!
Hi Liran,
DeleteGreat suggestion. We will check how it can be incorporate into the existing GUI.
Thanks!
