Isra-Internship

  • "Do think so, since the only thing the international program is lacking, is experience for students when they graduate, it's quite hard for international students to work in Israel. this would be a remarkable offer”

    “Nowadays Israel is considered a leader country in startup and I-m 100% sure that all my finds who are studying in Italy would take this opportunity”

    “It would definitely make it more attractive and would be an amazing experience”

    “Of course, having experience in a real company would add great value to Technion programs”

    These were only a few responses from international student’s survey.
    Our team goal is to connect foreign students to tech companies in Israel

    During the spring semester we plan to define the needs, design a program that would gain academic credit and build up web-portal for the different participants.

    This is a great idea. Not only will it help the students in their careers, but it will help the Technion in its quest to become more appealing to foreign students. And the catch phrase is perfect! The one thing I would recommend is associating yourself officially with the Technion so incoming students are aware of it.

    Great idea, I would defiantly use such a website if I was moving to a new country and a new university. Maybe you can also encourage universities to throw lectures for students who intend to join students exchange program at the Technion and promote your website there.

    It will be a great idea to create a Facebook fan page and insert a tab with have your website in it, in that way people can enter your site without getting out from Facebook.

    Adding some video tutorials of how to use your site can be very helpful, you can do that using programs like camtasia to record a video showing what to do with you narrating the text, we did that on our site and is very useful (at least we think so haha), here is the link to some examples: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEVUjOkLgI4psMYosqQXiXQ

    I think it's a good idea, the positive feedbacks from the survey should encourage you to develop more your vision. Maybe, you can use the help of our international students -they would be like "ambassadors" of your idea when they return to their countries.
