In the midst of the learning cycles we would like to update you about our new features & additions!
1. We are adding a PROFILE feature allowing documentation of past volunteering activity.
2. We are establishing a DISTRIBUTED GROUP feature - reaching out to friends, creating a custom
volunteering group for a certain activity at a certain time...
3. FACEBOOK connectivity is in plan, but not for the close iterations.
4. We are deliberating on our MARKETING plans, and have started to round up FIRST ADOPTERS from
the charity organization side.

It will be a great idea to create a Facebook fan page and insert a tab with have your website in it, in that way people can enter your site without getting out from Facebook.

I wanted to ask if you did some work on your SEO so you will be easier to find?
Also, I thought it would be productive to do a survey on what charity work people are doing or prefer to do. Maybe it will help you focus on things that are more "hot" and see how many and how much people would like to invest themselves (at least at the begining). This could also prove useful since you can collect emails and names from people who do charity at the moment and make them first adopters.

+ A facebook fan page is a great idea! We'll wait until we are ready to receive volunteers and then launch it! - your link is very useful!
+ We do need to work on our SEO, but since we're limited with time and resources, we're delaying work on similar issues.

3. Ask volunteers to post pictures (if they can) fom their volunteering experiences. There is great potential for vast escalation of volunteers this way.

I would like to sugest you to add another feature to your website- when a user loggs to the website he can see other voulnteers he may know- it would ispire him to explore more posibilities of volunteering as his friends

I know its hard to initiate a lot of things, like profiles of users and activities, but you MUST create a forum which will enables users to talk about and publish charity work. It will help you to be relevant as soon as possible.
