Content
(1)
Lack of short summaries explaining the main ideas of each section of
our website
---We have summarized each
section and let users know their functions clearly. Especially a brief
description of our mission is written near the title of our website. In the
near future, we will prepare a video (icon) on a top corner, telling new
visitors our goals, blueprint, history and current state, etc and give people
more expectations and visual incitement.
(2)
Lack of a list of possible crops and relevant guides in growing
---we have added the plant
guides of tomatoes and other vegetables will be listed soon.
(3) Short of guidance in compost,
such as how to make it easier to fertilize plants
--- Guiding
how to fertilize plants is a significant function of our project, especially
prompting to use left-over as fertilizer. We will ask some experts for their
suggestions on it.
2.
Layout
(1) Should use links to
related subjects inside posts, guides and all written material so people don’t
have to scroll up and down the page
---Due to the constraints of
the current platform, a blog template, we cannot make use of hyperlinks to
connect the materials, which also makes the whole layout a little vague. So we have
decided to switch to an advanced platform later on.
(2) Should highlight critical
subjects
3.
Marketing
It is our mission to help people
who like urban agriculture plant easily so marketing our website is a most
important task for us. Besides social networks, such as Facebook, twitter and
so on, we will try our best to cooperate with relevant NGOs or communities to
market our website.
In a word, the most
significant apperception of using the concierge method is we can easily find out our shortcomings and improve it thanks to our
users.
Thank you, all classmates.
