Our project is an informative site for the exchange and international students at the Technion.
The problem we are solving is that international and exchange students face difficult procedures to receive information. For this reason, the site is created in cooperation with the coordinators of the Technion International School.
On the one hand, we provide serious and official information, but on the other hand, the presentation is student-friendly, modern, and interactive.
We make sure that the students are accompanied all the way from the first moments before and during arrival as well as during their stay in Israel.Therefore, our site is divided into three main parts:
1. Before the arrival
2. During the arrival
3. Student life section
The students can also contact, share, ask questions and find other students who make the same journey as they do, through the "Get in contact" section on the website.
First steps: At the beginning, we copied and pasted information from the student guide every international student is given. We added pictures to make it more attractive and asked for feedback via e-mail and guestbook comments.
Next steps: Due to the user’s propositions, we will adjust and add information. Moreover, in a meeting with the coordinators, we will discuss whether to start a facebook group which brings international and local students in contact.

As I mentioned in class, though concentrating the information for the international students in one place is great I think it is relevant to talk a bit more about the useful places surrounding the campus such as good pubs, resturants, sports centers etc.
